Kinn Guesthouse Bay View

Super easy to get in. Such a lovely room, High ceilings, exposed brick, original art, awesome shower, gorgeous wood floor. The common kitchen area was awesome, great space and handy breakfast coffee in morning.

We have stayed at the Kinn multiple times. Couples stay. Girls nights. Such the perfect location. We stayed at the downtown location recently and it was also fabulous!! But Bay View will always be our favorite! So many great restaurants, bars, and event venues.

Gorgeous spot in a fun neighborhood. The rooms were cozy with lots of nice design touches and extras in the public area. The restaurant below was perfect for a wintry night dinner. Our only surprise was the amount of stairs to get up to the rooms. Hope to return in warmer weather.

The ONLY issue we had was that the room was very hot. Other than that we had an amazing time staying there. We will definitely be coming back and also telling others about this gem of a place for a little local getaway overnight.

A truly lovely experience. The rooms are above an Italian restaurant (didn’t go) and there is a nice common area with a well-stocked kitchen, dishwasher, laundry, and a cozy seating area with tv and games.

I booked a room at the Bay View location with two friends to share because the hotel was otherwise fully booked. We were pleasantly surprised at how roomy and comfortable the room was for the three of us. Major points for the Ursa bath products in the bathroom. I went and bought the hand soap from Ursa’s shop across the street! The hotel is very clean and there’s a big beautiful shared kitchen for all the rooms to use. It reminded me of a fancy hostel. Only down side to that though is I was up around 7:45 and there was only one pod of coffee left so we split it three ways. This is where I think Kinn loses one little star. It’s a very, very self serve hotel. There’s no front desk or staff on sight so communication is done all by text. Whoever received the text thanked me for letting them know they were outta coffee and said someone would be there soon to drop some off but I’m not sure that ever happened. We left around 10am and there still wasn’t coffee stocked in the kitchen. Also, when I went to book the hotel initially I called to reserve a room and the rep told me she wasn’t sure how to do that and it’s best to book online. Safe to say if you’re used to a very hands on approach from your hotel, this might not be best for you. Perfect for the Airbnb type of travelers, though, used to a self serve experience. Overall the hotel is cool and the location is really what makes it a steal. I’d stay again but pack my own coffee stuff :)

What a nice surprise! This place Is a hidden gem. Great bedroom and shower, super high ceilings. And really love the communal kitch n and living room up front. Free parking and reasonable rates make this place spot on.

I stayed at Kinn Guesthouse Bay View a couple of weeks ago for my boyfriend’s birthday, and we had a great experience. The room had a unique, industrial feel with exposed Cream City brick and lots of natural light, which gave it so much character. Everything felt well-designed and thoughtfully put together. We also loved the community room, which was stocked with coffee, water, and little touches that made the stay feel cozy and welcoming. Dinner at Sorella downstairs was incredible! The food and atmosphere made the night feel really special and was definitely a highlight. Overall, Kinn Guesthouse Bay View is such a cool spot in Bay View, and we’d absolutely stay again!
